absolutely ridiculousI truly hate giving a bad review for an LGBT novel but I wish I had never purchased this book I generally read approximately 40 LGBT themed books a month and have learned to be objective about my reviews This novelwhich I believe has a great idea and storyline, just falls terribly short. The story is of a young amateur Rugby player who is abducted and sold into slavery Ok, interesting idea But from that point until the very end it is pretty much soft core erotica which absolutely ridiculousI truly hate giving a bad review for an LGBT novel but I wish I had never purchased this book I generally read approximately 40 LGBT themed books a month and have learned to be objective about my reviews This novelwhich I believe has a great idea and storyline, just falls terribly short. The story is of a young amateur Rugby player who is abducted and sold into slavery Ok, interesting idea But from that point until the very end it is pretty much soft core erotica which isn t very erotic There is no passion, nothing that makes any of the characters stand out There is no character development The protagonist refers to gay men using tired slurs Well we can all imagine what happens there That s perhaps the biggest drawback to the novel completely and utterly predictable No suspense No plot twist No scene or transition that is even believable. If you like soft core porn and wouldn t mind a book which does not evoke anything even close to sensuality and don t mind paying on the high end for an e book then you might enjoy I wish the author would consider a rewrite because the book has potential Also there are an inexcusable number of grammatical errors It s just not ready for publication
