4 Finn a licious StarsSothe adventure of Finn and Ren continueI have to admit that this book was so much better than the first You can see how the author s ability to write is growing and maturing with each book I do have to admit though that I am still not a Finn fanhe annoys me with not answering questions and how he keeps giving Nurrin mixed signals UGH so frustrating.I m hoping with the next book he finally grows some kahunas and tells Ren the truth

In book two Finn and Nurrin are trying to track down her brother Collin and her boyfriend Dustin One clue left behind in their cave sets them on a path to a new Haven and each place they come to sends them on another clue They only have each other to trust and that s easier said than done considering 1 Finn has too many secrets to count and still won t answer questions 2 Nurrin hates Finn and 3 The chemistry between Nurrin and Finn is almostthan she can manage.Book two is told in al In book two Finn and Nurrin are trying to track down her brother Collin and her boyfriend Dustin One clue left behind in their cave sets them on a path to a new Haven and each place they come to sends them on another clue They only have each other to trust and that s easier said than done considering 1 Finn has too many secrets to count and still won t answer questions 2 Nurrin hates Finn and 3 The chemistry between Nurrin and Finn is almostthan she can manage.Book two is told in alternating POV s between Finn and Nurrin We finally get to learn a few secrets that Finn has, which was satisfying Though not as sexually charged as book one, they are still fighting their growing attraction towards one another Finn has promised to keep Nurrin and her brother safe, at all costs He doesn t do relationships and he knows Collin would never want him to be involved with his sister The fact that Nurrin hates Finn helps, but as she grows to trust him, she also becomes somewhat confused about her attraction to him. This book had quite a few grammatical errors I don t remember book one being that way That s always frustrating to see in a finished copy Where book one wasfast paced, I found book two to be a bit slower, perhaps because they aren t so much running from zombies, though the zombies behavior patterns are changing, as they are going from Haven to Haven trying to find Collin and Dustin.Bottom line I WANT MORE FINN AND NURRIN As in the words of a popular AtT commercial We wantWe wantCheck out my review of book one,The World Without a Future .Favorite Quotes Finn would move heaven and earth and face a horde alone to find Collin Which means he is the only person I want helping me. I will go to hell a thousand times over to have this woman in my arms for even a fraction of a moment.Final Rating 4 stars. This review is also posted HERE

Hopefully you have read my review of book one in this series The World Without A Future, if not, why not you can read it here to catch up.So lets get up to speed, book one had zombies laying waste to everyone and everything in their path, escaping with their lives Nurrin and her brother Collin , her boyfriend Dustin and Finn s best friend finally manage to find a safe haven only to discover that Dustin has been infected, Nurrin and Finn set off to find an antidote, on their return back to Hopefully you have read my review of book one in this series The World Without A Future, if not, why not you can read it here to catch up.So lets get up to speed, book one had zombies laying waste to everyone and everything in their path, escaping with their lives Nurrin and her brother Collin , her boyfriend Dustin and Finn s best friend finally manage to find a safe haven only to discover that Dustin has been infected, Nurrin and Finn set off to find an antidote, on their return back to the safe haven after they have scoured the lands for this medicine they discover both Dustin and Collin gone, cue Book 2 The Horde Without End So this book picks up straight away in the safe haven where we left off, Nurrin and Finn still fighting with their overwhelming chemistry need to decide what to do, Nurrin doesn t need to try to hard to come to a decision she is going after her brother with or without the enigma that is Finn Finn s name opens doors and comes with a lot of baggage that he does not want to discuss with Nurrin, she has to settle for him keeping her safe, make her hot and bothered and making sure she can get her brother back from wherever he has gone.Their journey in this book takes them to new Haven s and we venture to Haven 1 where things see almost normal compared to the living hell that everyone outside its walls has to endure, Haven 1 is home of the President of what is left of the USA and for once Finn s name is not getting any brownie points with him, they know each other from years ago and they do not share happy memories. This book is as awesome as the last one, I could read about zombies and the extremely hot Finn quite happily for ever, Nazarea again has hit the nail on the head with her descriptions of these hordes and when Finn tries to explain to the president that the infected are changing for the worse, you wonder what the hell is coming up in book 3 especially with the heart breaking ending this book has.So yay for zombies, I m awarding this 5 out of 5

The Horde Without End picks up where the first book ended, with Finn and Ren s ongoing journey to find Ren s brother, Collin and her boyfriend, Dustin The enigmatic Finn is Collin s best friend and his two main priorities are keeping Collin and Ren alive After surviving their arduous trek to obtain medication for Dustin, who was injured during their escape from a zombie invasion of their Safe Haven or home in the first book, they must now face the wide open, zombie infested terrain to find and The Horde Without End picks up where the first book ended, with Finn and Ren s ongoing journey to find Ren s brother, Collin and her boyfriend, Dustin The enigmatic Finn is Collin s best friend and his two main priorities are keeping Collin and Ren alive After surviving their arduous trek to obtain medication for Dustin, who was injured during their escape from a zombie invasion of their Safe Haven or home in the first book, they must now face the wide open, zombie infested terrain to find and reunite with Collin and Dustin unsure whether the two are still even alive Hope can be a dangerous thing, but it s all Ren has to keep moving forward with Finn, a man she both loathes and desires If you thought the passion brimming beneath the antagonism between Finn and Ren was intense in the first book, you will find the continued friction and sexual tension between them now has grown so taut that it s only a matter of time before it all explodes A central question is whether they trust each other enough to survive the aftermath As I discovered in the first book, whereas Ren is fiery, Finn is just as icy, and their characters continue to clash in this second installment even when they try to resist their temptation for each other.Similar to the first book, the pace of the story picks up quickly and is full of mystery and action and danger as complications continue rise and pose obstacles for the two as they get closer to finding Collin and Dustin and try to warn the other Havens about the increasing zombie hordes It appears the virus that infected them is continuing to mutate and the zombies are adapting and becomingsuccessful in their attacks Both Ren and Finn alternately narrate the story in the first person POV using the present tense, which is commonly found in new adult fiction Using the present tense gives a sense of immediacy and intensity to the situation and is an effective technique for the plot of this series Also, readers begin to discoverdetails about Finn s secretive past and why he is so reluctant for anyone to get close to him I also now realize why it is so important for Finn to have Ren s trust even though he continues to withhold so much information from her While I had a good idea of how the first book would conclude, I was shocked by the climactic cliff hanger of this book The ending left me clamoring for , and I hope Andrews won t keep her readers waiting too long As a fan of post apocalyptic zombie fiction, I really enjoyed reading these first two books, and they must be read in sequence to understand the storyline I especially liked the unusual twist to the typical zombie plot that Andrews adds in the first book, which describes how and why a cult like group called the Order organizes a celebratory tribute every year on the anniversary of the initial outbreak that occurred 20 years prior This story thread continues in the series since the Order continues to pose a threat to Ren So far, these first two books in the series are riveting and entertaining from start to finish. Those who plan to start the series should be aware that the books contain graphic violence, sexually explicit scenes, and coarse language With those caveats in mind, readers who like new adult fiction that juxtaposes the sexy and the dark may like this series as well.Source I received an ARC of this book from the author to provide an honest review.Rating 4.5
